Could it be that the thrill was gone for Owen? Well, yes, it could be, and still…we may never know. There it is again, that haunting, gut wrenching thought. No, not that thought, those thoughts.

I remember the days in that last year, when he listened to Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. He used to call me in to the living room to listen to a particular cut. He said they had a beautiful simplicity that just rang true. He thought they were such a great duo. If this song is any indication, he knew his stuff. But, then, I knew that.
