Yes, a good song choice for the grieving. Why is Dave afraid? Is he worried about YOU? Are you doing what you need to do to care for yourself? Now more than ever it’s essential that you do what you need to do to be healthy. For all your conflicted emotions that you’ve shared with us over the last year, I know that may be hard, but you have to love yourself.

Hang in there, my friend.

I feel for your longing and sadness. I myself have not really “moved on”. We just go through life now as Robert used to say like learning to walk on one foot. We just also have to keep holding on to all the good memories of our lost loved ones and believe that one day we will be with them again. “To love and to hold” forever.

Just remember too that we are here for you and that we always pray that you and Owen find the peace you so deserve.

I guess it’s not hard to realise what you’re thinking. Time moves on but feelings remain the same – same as they ever were, same as they ever will be.

I can feel your sadness, and a quiet despair – and I’m sorry for that – although I understand.

But please do remember that not only do the sad feelings remain – but also the love, the good feelings, the good memories too.

And one day, maybe, whenever, the good memories will take prime position and the sad memories will surface just some days instead of all days.
